The Nether Soul-Devouring Gourd (摄魂净瓶 – Shè Hún Jìng Píng) is Zhong Kui’s canonical Taoist healing vessel in Black Myth: Zhong Kui. Inscribed with ancient talismanic runes, this sacred gourd performs two vital spiritual duties: it holds consecrated herbal draughts that restore vitality, and it actively absorbs vanquished wraith souls on the battlefield.
Vessel Overview & Alchemy Traits
- • Starting Capacity: 6 Draughts (Upgradable to 10 charges via Luojia Fragrant Vines).
- • Unique Passive: Inhaling ghost souls after staggering or executing demons immediately refills 1 Gourd charge without visiting a shrine.
- • Soak Capacity: 3 Slots for steeping herbs, crystals, and beast relics.
Mid-Combat Soul Inhalation & Recharging
Unlike traditional ARPG flasks that force players to return to shrines to refill healing charges, the Nether Gourd thrives in combat:
